Very peaceful and wonderful place/island, south-west part of island definitely is much better so resort is very good located.
The family owners are VERY nice and hospitable.
It was our last trip in koh Jum, just wanted to relax and enjoy and Simple life bungalows was perfect for us.
The property is full with nice sitting corners, you can burrow a kayak or snorkeling mask and swim in the peaceful water.
The bungalows are cosy and clean and a stone's throw from the beach.
We were there for 7 days around chrismas, enjoyed it fully and are grateful for all that time, dreaming about comming back.

The city is a village and is very quaint . There is some great places to get food and clothing. But remember this is a village so it's very tiny.
Not the best beaches in Thailand, but for that reason, not so many people go there. Easy to find a stretch of beach all for yourself.

I really liked the beachfront location, the spaciousness of the bungalows that were simple yet beautifully designed.
The villa's are 5 mins from the pier and there is a free pick up service.
