You can do variety of activity in this city, water sport/bush walking/ jogging.. suites those don't want to waste time in hotel room.

Suitable for a short stay at Yilan. Jimmy artwork is at the train station and along the streets. It is good to cycle around the small town.

Yilan is a wonderful place for relaxation. There are varieties of things to do such as sight seeing, visiting cultural places and going to night markets.

You have to stay in Luodong instead of Yilan because of the Luodong night market. Yilan has a smaller night market and it isn't that impressive.

nothing to share much because went only one night. We only visited the cold spring which is our main aim.

A sleepy town generally - mostly agricultural, so there are plots and plots of land used for rice/ grain growing.

Yilan though bigger than Luodong looks rather quiet. It is more of an administrative centre and lacks commerce.

I went to have a seafood lunch at a fishing port. The seafood is fresh and a lot of choice. The price is cheaper than Hong Kong and a bit higher as compare to Singapore.

Cruise around the "Gui-shan" island and chasing dolphins is quite worth it. Had wanted to visit the forests for nature walks but unsuccessful.

Fantastic place for vegetarians, lots of vegetarian stalls around. Just be aware though, that the Luodong night market is mostly over-hyped.

Yilan is a nice place. Full of scenic spots and good food. Good for sports, sightseeing and experiencing culture of Taiwan ethnic minorities.

better book a car or taxi for sight-seeing a nice and peaceful place must visit to the Lan-yeung Museum

The people in Yilan (generally in Taiwan) are super nice. Very helpful. You get to go up the mountains, see the water falls, do some hiking in Yilan.

Yilan is a development city close to country side. You can enjoy your trip with the nature and hot spring spa there.

Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area, Lotung Sports Park, Lanyang Museum, these places are very good.

a get-away from Taipei city. slow down your life and take a rest in the great nature, culture, people and food.

Yilan has many wonderful places of interest, such as the beaches, waterfalls, mountains, Pacific ocean, cultural village, hotsprings, good food, fishing port and seafood, night markets, just to name a few.

Hot spring and night markets are must-go. The food and people in Ilan are the other attractions that people are fond of.

Remember to visit the Ro Dong night market to enjoy the special dishes 'pu lou' and 'chong you bing'.

Yilan is a peaceful place, with lesser traffic, lots of people come to this area for relaxation. There are lots of activities you may do at Yilan and really great fun.

Places of interests pretty much scattered. Good to book a cab to bring you guys to the numerous attractions (more on parks, museums and the like).

Nature, rest and relaxation sums it all up. Look hard to find nice food and restaurants! The night market in LuoDong is crowded with fried and grilled snacks, cheap fashion and knick knacks.

I found this Candy House is so good service from the bos, this is family business, and the bos provide his service with the transport for us to the railway station, i will strongly recommand to friend for this homestay hotel , and if i travel to Taiwan i will book this Candy House again.

We went to the DongMeng night market in Yilan. Personally, I like market more than the one in LongDong.

If you are a nature lover, you would love Yilan. Boat trip around Turtle Island and dolphin-watching is a must.

Train service is limited; only 30mins per train typically. Be sure you have download the train schedule for the day if you are going to other Attractions within Yilan Metro City that is 1 to 2 station away from Yilan Train Station.

Inconvenient to travel to unless the hotel transfers are arranged. Not much to see other than enjoy the hotsprings in your hotel.

if u want a cheeap and taste good food, come here.But no shopping mall for hk people .You can relax eat ,spa,outdoor activity etc.

This hotel is very far away from the bus station and subway. The room is small and not very clean, many people smoking in the hotel.
