Shangri La has already established a name for itself as it is already a common knowledge for everyone that it is a 5-star hotel. So already expect a good service from its staff, which I can attest to, nice, clean and spacious rooms with a great view of sunrise and sunset as well, great food, great facilities and everything that is to be expected of a 5-star hotel to h...
The Crimson resort is a real 5 star hotel with excellent staff who cater for your ever need. Firstly this hotel isn't as cheap as most you will find in the Philippines but I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for and that is true with everything here. Every member of staff is friendly and willing to asist you, the food is exceptional and has a wide variety form...
I've stayed in 5 stars hotels in Philippines for my business trips and I must say Movenpick Mactan tops the best in hospitality. You are welcomed and greeted at all times throughout the stay. In comparison to facilities, I hope they could do better and service at the Ibiza Beach Club could be improved. Overall we had a splendid stay!
Okada is one of the best hotel we stayed at. All the staff members are very helpful and kind. They will made you feel like VIP. We request for higher floor room with the fountain view and they made it happen. We were surprise when they upgraded our room to premium suite :) Thank you Okada for giving us a very luxurios stay. We will surely your regular guest everytime w...
This is the best resort I've been in the Philippines so far. Staff picked us up from the airport all the way to the resort with no hassle. The staffs were humble and courteous. They were able to help me on all of my inquiries during my stay. The room is spacious, clean, and bright. You have your own veranda to chill if you prefer. Their front beach is a must VISIT! - e...
nice hotel rooms are large and hotel has extra activities , but hotel could use some maintenance as much of most of the hotels in Philippines, the shower water not all that hot, if location not an issue I would recommend Marco Polo...
As a frequent business traveler to Cebu City for the past 10 years, I would highly recommend the hotel for both the leisure and business traveler. For the most part the hotel staff are very friendly and attentive to the guests needs. The food preparation and taste is above average with the hotel serving a very good breakfast buffet each morning in Cafe Uno. The hotel ...
I finally found a nice hotel in Philippines. This hotel is relatively new. Just walking distance to Ayala mall. I did not eat there when I was informed that the buffet breakfast was $18 US. Never had a breakfast that good. This is probably why I just booked only the room originally. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was great.
The best in Angel city Please believe me central tower is excellent you cannot fault it I stayed for three weeks in the Philippines but only book Central for five nights just in case I didn’t like it tried to book could not they was fully booked so I ended up going to the penthouse which is next-door that 2 is a nice hotel but they have carpet in the room which tend ...
One of the best hotel in the world! you only pay 3/4 star but you get a 5 +++ star hotel! the housekeeping clean you room with a team of 5, in 15 minutes is done. You get you bag in the room in the same time after you check in. The room service is 24 h and you able to choose for the full menu. One of the best Restaurants in the Philippine. The best US tenderloin in a...
We stayed on the 6th floor which has the best sunset view and pool view (though we can't see the fireworks from MOA). The two double beds were big enough for one adult and one kid each bed. We had two children with us. A third adult could also fit in and sleep on the long sofa along the window. There's an extra blanket but no extra pillow provided. The bathroom is sepa...
Fantastic location across the road from creature comforts provided by Resort World. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and well equipped with gym and pool. Great starting point for travels around the Philippines, hotel was able to effortlessly manage my party of 10 people as we all arrived at different times under one booking. Free ...
I booked Bayfront at a lower price here at Agoda and just out of curiosity i tried asking the rates as a walk in and its almost twice the amount that i have paid booking here. With the amount that i have shelled out, i should say that it is one of the best values there is. The place is just like one of those five star hotels and it seems that Bayfront has been rated be...
We spent 6 days at Henann hotel. Facilities are outstanding with pools on 4 levels. Though it is a large resort, everybody could easily find a space. Service and staff were diligent and so nice. It is a recent hotel so everything is clean and good quality. Bedrooms are large with all luxury equipment. The hotel is located at the city center (do not go there for isolate...
One of the best places to stay in Manila. This hotel has it all, and more. The breakfast selection is beyond compare, and really makes you feel like they went all out to please every possible palate. Only a few minor gripes... But apparently western style bacon is a mystery to this part of the world. Even at the 5 star level their seems to be an amount of mistrust over...
Overall we had a great stay at the Hyatt City of Dreams. There was a minor issue with our room and the Assistant Manager at the Front office: NELYSSA BERNARDO was exceptional at handling our concerns and taking care of the situation. The customer service was well deserving of 5 stars. and we really appreciated all her hard work. The rooms are new, modern and very spa...
We had booked this room somewhat last minute because we wanted a place to stay during our last night in the Philippines after spending about a week on Siargao Island. We figured it was close to the airport (so traffic would be SLIGHTLY better) and it would be nice to "treat ourselves". We had visited the pool a week prior when friends stayed there so we fell in love wi...
perfect location, free fast-speed wi-fi (with its own router per room, unlike the other hotels i've been in), room space/s were used very smart, ergonomics furniture. great value for your money, considering that they have not opened yet, i was informed that they started operational opening in march 2012, but their grand opening is not until next month: july 2012. pool ...
Unlike many hotels in Philippines this one is like what you would get in the west. Clean large rooms where things all work, great service and done western style. A good location for the airport, which is why I choose it, but there is not a lot close by outside of the hotel. Good for 1 night. Not the cheapest in the area bur you only get what you pay for.
its the best hotel in coron... it is beyond my expectation when i check it online until the time i came to the hotel... front desk are very nice... friendly... also the bell boys... very accomodating... i went there with no idea what things i can do in coron... but staff are very helpful and giving us ideas and suggestion on where to go and visit in coron.. they even c...
We stayed on and off in this hotel for the last 3 weeks between our trips around the country when we got back to Manila this is the hotel we stayed at. When we had first arrived in the Philippines we had stayed at a different hotel for 2 days which didn't even come close to the standards of the Antel Best Western Hotel. We reserved the 1 bedroom mini suite The r...
it's a long drive from the airport to hotel sheridan, but when you finally get there you'll see that this is the perfect place to do nothing but relax. you're away from traffic and noise. all you hear is the beach. wifi works, but don't expect to do anything fast. it's basic internet access. globe data signal works too, but not 3g. once you're here, you won't wan...
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Golden Phoenix Hotel. During our month long vacation in the Philippines, we went on several trips outside of Manila but always came back to stay at the Golden Phoenix Hotel for a total of four stays! I think that’s proof enough of how much we liked this hotel. The best part during each stay is the entire hotel staff. ...
At first we booked a place here on October 2016, but sadly our trip was cancelled because of the typhoon that hit the whole Philippines. Therefore we decided to rearrange the trip. July 2017, we finally came to this beautiful and wonderful resort. We are really happy here because the facilities are top-notch, the surroundings are really beautiful and the staffs are v...
I booked a 10th Floor Grand Bayview Corner Suite for one night at Solaire. The staff are highly trained Filipinos who are very polite, accommodating, energetic, sharp and they seem to love their jobs. Excellent Management. The room was very spacious, with two (2) large Flat Screen TVs, Long L-Shaped Leather Sofa, Las Vegas Style Bar, King Size Bed, Digital Safe, Wri...
Cheap places to stay in Philippines
In this review I'd like to give credit to the people who work in this hostel and do their best to offer cheap accommodation to people who can't afford anything else. This is not a place for travelers, unless they are on a really tight budget. The dorms are crowded, there are children crying every now and then and the light will be switched on and off even after midnigh...
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is good. But the location is poor. My taxi driver had trouble finding it. There are no decent restaurants nearby. No sidewalk so you have to walk in the street. That's not a problem on a secondary street, but it's a real danger on a major thoroughfare. I booked for two nights and left after the first night. I wi...
The location is near to the iconic calle crisologo. We went here for a group and we are 29 in total and we fit 2 rooms that consist of 12 double-size bunk beds per room. Initially my reservation was cancelled without any notice on the day of our check-in.. But when I replied to their email, they were able to reply around pass 1 in the afternoon. The wifi is slow insid...
The accommodation and facilities are basic, what you would expect for a budget place. The best thing about this place is the staff who are very friendly and helped me book transport and get a good price.
i always check in here whenever i visit CDO primarily because of their location. Near the malls, near 7/11 and cheap transportation, sikad! :) i just wish that all the remote controls are functioning well (there was one booking front desk told me i have no remote for tv because there are no available), and also the last time i checked in, the towel was torn. Also, sma...
Dean and Kuya Roger were very nice hosts. The place is clean and is just a few steps away from the beach where you can dive and swim. Also, within a few kilometers is the jump point for Mt Gulugod Baboy to test yourself in hiking. I would definitely go back..
I was really skeptic about getting to 8Hostel. It is because I read so much negative reviews. However, I went ahead and booked the place. I told myself you get what you paid for. But I was wrong. The place is really nice. It is clean,. Daily cleaning service in the dorms. Plus, you can ask a towel or anything that the facility is supposed to provide and they will bring...
Cheap place with aircon..., no wifi, no hot shower, super dirty...
Though you will need to walk around 30mins to reach the inn, the location is really exceptional as it sits in the heart of Batad. What we liked the most is how accommodating the owners are and the view of Rice Terraces. Kuya Romy and Ate Ruby are very kind and they even gave us tips on how to commute around Banaue and Sagada. The rate for the room and tour is very affo...
I loved my stay at Fanta Lodge. It is is not the best accomodation you can have but it serves it purpose well. I loved how it is homey that I quite felt homesick by the time we left on to the next hotel we're to stay for one more night. I'd much prefer staying there over the other hotel because it felt closer to home and you get to interact closely with the staff. They...
great hotel and 5 stars with everything, If you looking for a nice clean hotel then this is the one...yes it is old and dated but your not paying 5 star prices ...staff are very nice and speak excellent english...
So the Agoda location is correct but google maps has it wrong. I enjoyed this hostel although I didn't stay long, there is space to sit outside, its fairly close to the main road although along a dirt track and the breakfast was good, 2 eggs with toast and ham. The bunks were ok and there are some single beds as well. This would be my first choice for the city.
Briliant value for money - such a lovely hospitable family. The food was great and varied, the accomodation - in a lovely garden setting- was cool, clean and comfortable and most importantly the owners looked after my each and every need- exceptionally well. They organised my 100 Islands tour - negotiated a very fair deal for the trip and provided lots of great tips, a...
The front desk peeps were very friendly and smiles all the time. They were very accommodating. The rooms are clean enough, interior is just okay, you just get what you paid for. We checked in here since this is near the north bus terminal and we only needed a place to take a shower and nap. However, the only thing I hate is the towel they lent me stinks a lot!! Like it...
We stayed here for 4 nights, absolutely amazing! Christina and her family is super friendly, hospitable and make great food as well. Most central place to stay in Batad by far, in the middle of the rice terraces. Warm showers, great facilities, we can't say enough good things about the place.
The staff was great. They allowed us to use the shower room of the room we booked since we just came from the island tour and we are already past our check out time. They have a hot and cold shower which is great. They have a complimentary breakfast which will keep you going for the upcoming tours. A ride away from the beach front for the tours. Hoping to come back aga...
we stayed for 2 nights and 2 days... this is just a suggestion especially for a group of people who is going to stay in the hotel. having an active outlet should be available. 1 socket available for 6 people in one room is not enough as we need to charge our phone and all. I cant understand the point of view of having a wifi access only in the ground floor. Why peopl...
+ one of the cleanest hotel in philippines + nearby airport - no wifi - no hot shower - really small room that was totally different looking than in the pictures
This is a new establishment in Puerto Princesa - the owner Lara and her family helped me with every question that I had, and helped me with renting a motorbike as well. You really feel like a part of the family when you are staying at this place, this is by far the best place I have stayed in while I have been in the Philippines, mainly because of the people surroundin...
Had a private room which was basic, but clean. Air con was great. Bathroom was the typical tiny style you get in the Philippines. Only issue was that shower leaked in that room so the floor was pretty wet most of the time. The place is still being renovated/built up though so i can imagine it will only get better. You can easily get a tricycle to the city centre for 40...
The owner is really nice and friendly. Location is nearby bars and restaurant (5-10 min walk). it's a capsule hôtel so everything is tiny but for a stop it's ok. You have your privacy, it's quiet, clean and safe. You can lock the door of the capsule if you worried about your belongings but not enough space to sleep with. Cold shower like almost every hostel in Philipp...
The place is amazing. Its a nice location in the mountains next to the Casaroro Waterfalls. The cottages are in the middle of a garden and you fall asleep to the sounds of insects and frogs, which isn't bad at all even though it seems like it would be. There's no air conditioning because its already cold up in the mountains of Valencia. Obviously there is no Wifi o...
Awesome location (must be willing/able to trek in)! Fantastic views of the Batad rice terraces. Super friendly staff and guides to learn about and trek/ tour the area. Food was very good and very reasonably priced! Hot water was a little spotty / sketchy but showering after a day of trekking is all we needed. The massage ladies did a great job on our sore muscles. All ...
Stayed here for a about 5 days and I absolutely enjoyed it. Wifi is good - that's saying something in The Philippines. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Will definetly book this place again.
5stars for value, facilities, location, & staff just 2 stars for cleanliness, as the cockroach from other reviews are true. the comfort room is within the room, so you might think the smell will stay, but it didn't on my stay
very nice people full of very good advices! best to start your trip in phillipine and learn about customs amd people! very helpfull! i highly recommemd them!
I think it was good enough for a 2 star place. I stayed for 1 night, female bedspace. They gave me a pillow. No blanket. I'm glad I brought my shawl as the temperature can be cold at night with the aircon. No toiletries so I brought my own. If you want privacy, you can hang your blanket on the bed posts as what other bedspacers do. I especially booked this place for t...
Excellent food, great people, very helpful and kind staff and owners, very convenient location, one of the best hostels!
Best internet connection in the Philippines after a month of traveling! Staff is lovely and the place is very clean. Great value for money for the Philippines and good value for backpackers

i first found this place 2007. I have stayed at the Motel 6 times in 3 years. Out of all the resort hotels i have stayed at in the Philippines, this one is the best. All motels in the Philippines are not equal to the US hotels as far a the rooms go on the star scale. After all the Philippines is still a 3rd world country. But the little hotel could give all the rest le...
Bluewater Beach Resort is an outstanding place to spend a few days outside the chaos of the city. It's peaceful and the staff will make sure you have nothing to be worried of. The surroundings and buildings (2 floors maximum) are convenient and will give you a cozy feeling. Unlike some neigbouring resorts with huge buildings. The place is not too big, so I assume a g...
This is my second time to visit the Philippines. The first time I stayed at the IntercContinental hotel in Makati. The rooms were nice, but the building is old and the carpet needed replacing. I happenned to come across The Best Western and liked the pictures and the price. The rooms were very modern and the hardwood floors were much cleaner that the carpet at th...
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. The decor and amenities are rarely matched by american hotels that cost double the price. We had the Panorama Suite and the view was breathe-taking. The staff was fast, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. We were able to walk to the hotel from the port dock and the town was a short tricycle rid...
My first time in Philippines and i was so glad i choose this hotel. Because it is new, the cleanliness was the best, the hotel was located in just the best spot of the entire street, the room layout was fantastic, toilet was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The front office staff, bell boys were extremely professional and friendly. Everything was perfect...
We just stayed for a few days with business in the area. Although I don't imagine there's much in Alabang for the tourist, Azumi is definitely the best option for someone needing to be in Alabang, who doesn't want to spend megabucks on one of the huge chain hotels. Azumi is fresh a new with a very modern feel. The staff (who seem to to be great in number) are as frien...
Everything was put together so well and it was so organized. The staff I would give a million stars to. They were always happy and helpful. The food, drinks, vibe was just perfect. We took advantage of all the activities they had to offer and each was just as good as the one before. Best massage of my life was here. We can’t wait to go back again. If I had to give any ...
I stayed with my wheelchair bound mom and dad and my wife. Check in: I made a big mistake i by mistake had the booking in wrong date and arrived a day early. the lady simply said, "Don't worry, we will take care of it". So helpful..... The rooms were not the best for price. But then again it i felt you will not really stay in that room if you are in that resort. So ...
Rooms and bathroom clean, good shower, nice size rooms, buffet food downstairs is really good, The steak house upstairs not so good, they don't know the difference between savory food and dessert. A lot of restaurants in the Philippines has the same problem, they think sugar is a secret ingredient that makes everything taste better, not realizing it destroys the ...
The staff at this hotel are very professional, friendly and helpful. From the moment I arrived I felt appreciated and I was sad to leave. I enjoyed the view of the sea and sunset from my room and this was even better from the restaurant/bar area (as it was a higher vantage point). The drinks were excellent, the bar staff were friendly and I loved the mellow live musi...
Hotel staff from the security personnel, house keeping, concierge and reception, they were all warm and accommodating. we checked in to an executive suite and we can't help but to compare this to other casino hotels who charge double. at Winford you get enjoy high end rooms and 5-star service for an affordable price. my daughter loved it and my husband wants to go back...
close to perfect hotel with phenomenal service. The staff an service made my stay incredible. The hotel is a little pricey for when compared to other hotels in Philippines however for what you get and for the service offered it is well worth it. from the onsite dive shop to the organised day trips and onsite pools and restaurants. Definitely recommended.
We had selected Apulit as our starting point to our 3 weeks in Philippines to rest and relax as we had to travel for 24 hours to reach the country. Initially we had planned to stay for 3 nights, but opted to extend to 4 nights once there as we really didn’t want to leave this place. We traveled to the hotel by using ITI and from the moment we step out of the taxi at t...
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Montebello Villa Hotel. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The service was some of the best I have received here in the Philippines. The food was good, and the complimentry breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms are clean and spaciest. I also enjoyed the pool with its pool side tables. The garden is also excellent. They have a fis...
we had an awesome experience during our overnight stay at this hotel.. hotel staff were approachable and polite.. our (family) room was spacious/conducive, well designed and has complete facilities..buffet breakfast was excellent.. but the best part is the uncovered/open pool on top of the hotel bldg.. we truly enjoyed our night swimming underneath the sky full of sta...
Luxurious hotel at a snip! Staff are friendly and helpful, even asking if I wanted a newspaper as I took my breakfast. the rooms are great and an impressive reception and nice pool. Although it overlooks the straight and is a man-made beach, the pool more than compensates. Breakfast was great, but the outdoor, but covered evening dining is a very average experience. T...
I booked thru Agoda with no hassle. However, it said that payment is to be made in the hotel. When I checked in, front desk informed me that my card was already charged. This is my third stay at Linden Suites and now regard this venue as the best accommodation in Manila. Having stayed at Pan Pacific, Manila, Dusit, Mandarin and Pen., Linden will always be my first pref as teh value for the money is the best in Manila. Most appealing about Linden is the spacious rooms and apartments which help to make you feel a great deal more comfort...
The ambience is wonderdul and the quality of the suites also. We were not impressed with the check in procedure. Arrived around 11am after a long drive since 5am from Manila. Was told we cant check in early. Came back at 2.30pm and the room was still not available. Went absolutely ballistic and then they magically had a room available. Left the room next morni...
My daughter and I wanted to visit the Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Park so we checked in at this resort. The staff were prompt and courteous towards us. Beds are very comfortable. T...

Dusit Thai Philippines was recommended by my girlfriend. We both reside in USA and go to the Philippines as Balikbayans. We both live in the province and don't have a place in Manila. Shopping places and restaurants were just walking distance from the hotel. My friends in the Philippines met me at the hotel and was easy for them to find the place. My girlfriend always ...
I have to say this is the best hotel resort i’ve been in the Philippines. The place is big, clean, full of nature, and they have so many peacocks! Everything is highclass, not much people, you almost can have the public pool all by yourself. Also very instagramable, so many nice views for pictures! But this place is too healthy and natural that they only serve vegan ...
It was the Easter 2018. Long lines at the check in, got check in around 4pm. Then at breakfast, long lines. Good thing the food is great. At least, you will not get mad. Imagine waiting for 30 minutes then just to go your seats and the food is bad...I can just imagine. Tried the bar on the penthouse. It was ok. The menu lacks food. They should have more selections s...
I recommend a stay in that place, our rate was quite affordable at this time. Room was clean and spacious even so the shower didnt function perfectly, For that amount we paid for sure a very good deal for philippine hotel standards. I will return for sure, staff is friendly breakfast is various and good.
My kids enjoyed the pool. Superb service, polite staff, filipino dishes during breakfast buffet are very tasty. We had been into different hotels and resorts and yes, the rooms may not be a cozy carpeted 5 star type, but hey-it is a resort type and the floor tiles will always be wet and sandy coming home from pool or sandbar outside. Plus complimentary banana boat,sa...
This hotel caters to all, the diversity of people checking in proves how classy and friendly and welcoming atmosphere this hotel has. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family especially my co-workers who are coming to Philippines. Keep up the good work and the friendly and hardworking staff that your guys have, also the staff that does th...
Great beachfront location close to D’mall. Sky pool bar is a huge attraction and definitely is this hotels USP. Infinity pool gets the sun all day and provide the best spot to look at the sunset. John and his team as always know how to look after his guests and make sure you are fully juiced up giving no reason to leave the pool area. Typical Henann surroundings, ameni...
It s the first time to visit Philippine , I guess this country was dirty before but change my mindset after stayed in south palms , it was a wonderful hotel Although Bohol was a bit far away to Cebu , if you want to select Bohol , you should accept it s far location. I took the business class for speed boat and it s nice I request for the resort shuttle for 1st day p...
Great experience and stay there for more than 5 times. Staff are very friendly, helpful and attended to your issue. I would like to recommend Widus Hotel and Casio in Clarkfield Philippines because it's really make us comfortable and impressive place more than my expectation that feel safe, clean room, bed and swimming pool and casino as well. Actually I want to stay when I have a chance to be Clark Field Pampanga Philippines again. Thank you
Limketkai Luxe Hotel - Cagayan De Oro, Misamis Oriental Philippines - Clean and Modern Hotel - Friendly Staff, Warm and Accommodating - Location in Central Location near Limketkai and Centrio Mall - Food was mostly great(its the Philippines so mixture of Filipino and dishes from elsewhere) - Enjoyed my stay - 1 Meg Internet Free (other tiers speeds higher cost) Touch...
Me and my fiancée have just departed after a 7 night stay. If you are looking for a central Makati location then this is the place to go. Just across the street from Greenbelt 1 so all the shopping you can want is right there on the doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helpful with a great range of languages spoken so they really understand you. They will go out o...
We stayed with my husband two nights in this hotel for the last part of our honeymoon in the Philippines. The hotel was great! First as it was our honeymoon they upgraded us to a room with a beautiful view, offered us a bottle of white wine and some mangos and prepared the room with a special honeymoon set up. We usually got a present in other hotels for our honeymoon...
I hereby would like to comment to some previous comments given by others: Some people complain about the pricy food. Please note I have never eaten so well, every single day. This restaurant is equal or more to European standards!! The daily 6 course dinner is an enjoyment at itself. So, the price might be high for the Philippines, but well worth!!! Some peop...
This is without a doubt the best hotel in the philippines if not asia as well. The moment you are arrive you are greeted by friendly proffesional staff. The rooms are luxurious and you wont ever want to get out of the bed! The pool and tha spa are brilliant as are the pool staff serving ice cold water free of charge.
