Mother-in-law's 70th birthday trip 🌷”
After living abroad following our marriage, we returned to Korea to celebrate my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. We were unsure of how to spend our time, but then we discovered Hanok 1st Street. Our group of 11 people stayed in a detached house with one additional room, which was more than enough space for us. We are grateful for the kind service provided by the owners. We purchased ingredients for seaweed soup for my mother-in-law's birthday, but unfortunately forgot sesame oil. However, thanks to the owner's help, we were able to enjoy the soup for breakfast the next day. The detached house was equipped with basic necessities such as oil and salt, which was very convenient.

Had a comfortable and relaxing stay.”
Because of the nature of Hanok, there is no soundproofing, but if you meet the people next to you well, there is no major inconvenience. This is not something that the accommodation can solve... haha. On the first day, it was difficult to sleep because other guests suddenly became noisy at 3 am, but the next day was peaceful. The sound is not a lie...ㅠ
Perfectly located”
When we first arrived, we were surprised to see fields and farming so close by. However, once we started exploring, we realised how conveniently placed the hanok was, with most of the major attractions (including plenty of restaurants) bring comfortably walkable. There was a slight mixup with our booking, however, the staff could not have been more helpful to find a solution. The self-service breakfast and fridge and microwave were really helpful addition. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Great value for money!”
The owner was really kind. I reserved a 'Maehwa 1' room, but they gave me a 'Maehwa 2' room next to it and told me to rest quietly. I arrived late at night, but they kindly guided me and showed me to a restaurant (Room 9) so that I could eat easily. The morning view was so beautiful that I took a commemorative photo. If I come to Gyeongju next time, I will definitely visit again.
