Where to stay in Chungcheongbuk
Chungcheongbuk hotels & accommodations

I go to Korea lot and I can definitely say that this place is the best hotel in Korea. The room was clean and nice, and especially there was much more space than any other hotel had. I do not know why this hotel is 3 star hotel, I would probably give about 4.5 stars!

I have never seen a 4-star Ramada. This place was equipped with everything I desired. Luxury bedding and bathroom appliances are always at the top of my list. I excepted a small gym like most hotels; however, the hotel had more of a sports complex. I was thrilled to be the only one enjoying the large Jim-Jil ban, which is a Korean public bath and spa; it is basically a...

I stayed for a night for my Seoul to Busan cycling trip. Hotel owner very friendly, although he can't speak well English but he is doing his best to communicate with me and tried to make me fell like at home. This hotel provide almost all cyclists needed, washing machine, dryer, bicycles box lock, bicycle self fix station, out door cooking area and simple self service ...

While this hotel is not the Waldorf Astoria, it’s spotless clean and provides you with everything that you need for a visit to Chungju. The staff was very nice and knew some basic English (Thank You for that!). Air conditioned, tv, free wifi. It’s either this or one of the love motels down the street and this option is just fine.

Very good location between bus terminal and the park. Strange bed linings, very warm... Also there was supposed to be 24h front desk but when we needed someone there was no one and no bell to ring. Even when calling or doing some noise, nobody would appear. They're flexible with letting us check out one hour later and that was very convenient.

Location at entrance to Sognisan National Park is great. Built in 1968 it feels like some things were never renovated (bathrooms!, furniture, ceiling), but ok for spending the night. Breakfast starting at 8am only, thus we never tried it as we were always out hiking earlier. Somehow this Hotel does not match the portrayed splendor of all the other Lake Hills resorts......

This hotel is little far away from the city and there is not much around it. However thinking that taxis are cheap it can easily be used as a base. It is the closest hotel to the airport. The manager of this hotel is also excellent. When i enquired at the reception about dining options around the hotel he came back from home and he drove me to one of the restaurants. T...

Great location on a hill with great view. We book ondol room that can fit 4. Room with floor heating but unable to control the heater. Floor was too hot at night and we have to open window. Hotel has great outdoor hot spring and enjoy the most every evening. A nice and small ski resort 3km away also good for whole family. Less than a km downhill is Suanbo town which se...

hotel has its own hot spring, restaurant and convenience store. There's also lot of affordable restaurants nearby by walking. The owner is very kind and helpful. He personally bring us by his car to ski resort and bus terminal during our check out free of charge. Room is big. Will definitely stay again in this hotel and recommend to our friends back home.

Danyang is a small, quaint town that has a lot of sightseeing treasures. We came as a family of five (husband, myself, teenager, elem student, and toddler) on the off season and received a family room for a huge discount. The room was large with 1 double size bed and a separate ondol bedroom (Korean traditional room with bedding only). It was perfect for our family! It...

Nothing wrong with the hotel as such, just not particularly good value for money with dated rooms, cleanliness was sub par. It appears the hotel runs off a storage tank for hot water, so if you're not quick in the early evening, expect a cold shower. A first for us in Korea was the lack of WiFi after about 8pm (I think they turn it off).

Didnt have much time to explore but a nice place and cheap, comfortable hotel. The tv has alot of programs to choose and wifi is fast as well. Location is rather good. The only downside is there is no contacts(phone, email, website) to contact the hotel for more location information. I actually find my way by searching in details on google map. Staff cant really speak ...

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting friends in Cheongju. Hotel is in a great location, only about 200m from both bus terminals, express and inter city. Room was very comfortable and I really have no complaints. Staff were friendly but do not speak any English whatsoever. Hotels in Cheongju seem to be more expensive than other cities, so this hotel is comparable in...

The reason i booked this hotel is because 1 of my itineray was to visit the Cheongnamdae Presidental Villa in south of Cheongju. So based on the location, this is the only hotel i can get. I know hotel standard check in is in the afternoon. But i came to cheongju from another city, all i expact is to drop my backpack, so i can start exploring. When i reached the hotel...

Not far from the bus terminal, easy to catch city and intercity buses. Also the traditional market with many restaurants and all kind of foods available. The hostel was very cozy and everything was prepared when we arrived although we didn't meet the owner in person first but later in the evening. Next day we were advised how to take the bus to go hiking in sobaek mou...

The hotel is not brand new nor the cheapest. But staff is awesome guys. And all the needed facilities are there inside - for bath, for breakfast, for massage machine, etc. Great place to stay as a group. (I recommend On-Dol-Bang온돌방, which is a Korean style stay)
