All the staff are nice, perfect position just on the other side of the bus station. If you got some big luggage, better choose main building cuz outbuildings got no elevators, but that won’t change our appreciation to this hotel. If we’ll and I’m sure I’ll be back to Listvyanka, and I’ll choose Mayak
Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. All you can ask for from a hostel: cheap but with good standard considering the price. You have some privacy in your capsule but also a convenient communal area to meet other backpackers. Nothing bad to say!
I'd stay here again! Comfortable rooms (not big, but sufficient for 2 person), super clean and food at restaurant was delicious. It is a little far from town but pretty near the train station. The staff are great help when we asked for information, and the common toilet is very clean to use if you arrived early or check out early!

About 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel is 3 min from the beautiful bank of Baical Lake. Attention, the reception is inside the Listvyanka Club. The wooden house is awesome, but it will be noisy if your neighbour is not quite!

Maybe design of the hotel and rooms is not the best (this a common thing here) but the service was well above the average. Having early morning departure they prepared a breakfast just for me. Olga is a friendly and helpful host. Her local breakfasts are good and fills you up for the day. The house is near the main road of Listvyanka and is at the centre of the village. So you can walk to the village centre (market area) or towards the Baikal museum and ferry. There is also a hill behind the museum which is worth a visit for the view of the area.

Facilities were clean and the architecture of the buildings is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cosy and clean. Beautiful views of the river mouth and lake baikal.
The staff at the reception are very helpful to our enquirers and they helped us a lot in translation when dealing with locals. The location of the hotel is very good, 5 mins walk from the 3 churches in the city centre and the river side, 10 mins walk to the Main Street. Lobby and rooms are clean and comfortable.
Pleasant stay with an overall good feel about the place even though they are a business hotel that seems to be very busy but staff willing to always help.
Breakfast was extra and average, bring your own coffee. The mattresses are too long for the beds so they bunch up at the head and the feet. They charge extra if you want to store a bag for a few hours after checking out. Shared bathrooms. These were all very minor issues. Overall, not a bad place at an excellent price.

2016 May. The rooms were excellent, very well furnished and Spotless; in a good quiet area. 300 rumbles in a taxi from the train station. You could walk if you know the way as the walk is quicker due to one way streets the taxi has to drive around. But another thing it's uphill from the train station too. Will come back. Elderly travelers beware, there are few dozens of stairs to climb to reach the hotel but staff always willing to help with a baggage carrying. Steps aren't steep at all so was manageable by my 70+ year old parents.
