Where to stay in Tangier-Tetouan
Tangier-Tetouan hotels & accommodations
The staff deserves 11/10, Ilias and Houda a 12 !
I think the location is just too far from the mall/train station (about 5 min (no traffic) - 10 min w/ traffic). You can get a taxi though for just 10MAD/per person. There are no restaurants nearby except the hotel's room service/buffet offer/restaurant. Despite the location we still enjoy the pool, the staff were helpful. Room service food wasn't bad :) but if you are...
Best hotel in tangier.! AmaIng staff! Great hot breakfast with a fantastic view. I highly recommend this hotel if you want an American modern experience. Thank you Hilton!!!!
Checking in took a lil longer. The Staff lady was awarded as Employee of the month although at first, she was not that apprehended on me. And manger had to intervene. The room was clean but we had to call the room staff coz the window won't open up. she was trying to do it, but she gave up. My husband was abit disappointed, we called the attention of the hotel receptio...
The riad is located very conveniently inside the Medina, a few minutes walk away from the square. We love the clean room and helpful staff. It's a pleasure to have breakfast in the garden before walking under the fierce sun outside the riad. It's like an oasis in summer. The room is a little bit small if we have luggage, and walking with luggage uphill would have been ...
Dar Elrio is the best hostel I have ever lived. The amazing rooftop, the fabulous breakfast and the best part, is the host Ali. He is so kind and generous that he lent us the kitchen and even bought us food. The best choice of hostel, well, even hotel I have ever made. And Chefchaouen is really amazing as well, it is a gem of my tour in Morocco.
Quiet, comfortable, clean, spacious rooms. It doesn't have any 'soul', but that's to be expected. I checked in after several sleepless nights in a dirty noisy hotel in the Old City and appreciated it a lot. For 65dh extra you get a hearty breakfast. The location is near the beach, so would be ideal if that's where you are heading. Restaurants nearby are modern (i.e. n...
Comfortable room. But our toilet door couldn't be closed. There's no iron in the room but the ironing board is there. No hair dryer inside the room. Good breakfast. Next to a shopping mall and Mc Donald's.
Chefchaouen is an incredible village and Puerta Azul was a great place to stay! The rooms were spacious- living room, mini kitchen, and fridge and also very clean. My boyfriend loved the decor and ambiance. Most importantly was the awesome staff. They made sure we knew how to get around- explaining the taxis etc...We had awesome conversations and feel like we made frie...
Inside Chefchaouen's medina, but just 100 meters away from one of its entrance. Right on the commercial sé tienen n lf the medina. Very close to shops and restaurants. Nice building. All Was kept very clean at all times. We spent 3 nights there and had no complaints.
Staff is extremely pleasant, reliable and helpful. They've given genuine advice on touring around, food and scenic spots in Chefchaouen. Special acknowledgement goes to Said Raih, Omar and the overnight steward (a lovely guy) who made me feel welcoming at the lodge. Location is good which is close to Ras El-ma (a public carpark) and within 10-15 mins walk to Place ou...
The staff are friendly here, from receptionist to those serving breakfast and to those cleaning the rooms. It's a little high up so it's slightly away from the touristy area, but that means there's you also get a really nice view up in the terrace. When I say high up, it really means a climb but it's really only about 3-5 minute walk from where everything is. When I co...
It is a rite-of-passage to get lost in the medinas of Morocco while looking for your hotel upon arrival. But once I found Dar Swiar, I really appreciated the location. It is not far from the plaza and a main road (convenient for taxis). Yet, it is located in a quiet alleyway, not in the middle of the most crowded areas where the tourists are passing by all the time....
Our stay was wonderful. When I wrote, prior to arrival with questions, Nourrdine wrote back immediately with more information than I asked for. The staff was attentive and helpful during our stay, as well. The front rooms have a view of Chefchaouen - much better than being in the medina is to wake up to that view! However, the hotel is very close to the center, if ...
We LOVED the guesthouse. Both Mohammed and Antonio were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hostel itself is simply gorgeous and very near the center and maybe ten minutes from the hiking trails. The staff helped us arrange transport to Tangier Med and made sure we were as comfy as possible. The rooms are lovely, clean, and dozy. The downstairs bathroom's shower is th...
Me and my wife visited Chefchaouen as a pit stop en route to Marrakech, and was nearly tricked by a dodgy resident trying to lead us away from the hotel. However, luckily another resident asked us where we were going and pointed us in the correct direction, and upon reaching the hotel, the staff was very friendly and made the check-in process smooth, and after sending ...
The room is so big. Receptionist is very help. Hot water is not enough. It needs time to wait for next wave of hot water after someone finish shower. The hotel is located 1km away from train station, and 10 min from beach. And there is a big mall near hotel, which is opposite to train station.
Location perfect but the hotel was not. It has a four star rating so I expected more but the room was very average and the toilet leaked leaving water all over the floor in the bathroom..the Internet didn't work at all in the room and the Tv didn't work. The hotel has a bar but only two types of beer and no wihite wine. However the biggest problem was the restaurant f...
great hotel, nice local design, only this particular room on the top floor (with a beautiful terras) was a bit noisy at night (coming from the street and restaurants around), the other rooms (that we also tried 1 night) might be better for you if you prefer a very quiet room
Hisham and Zuhair (Zaitouna staff) were very good and they both love their job. They both treat every guest like a member of their family and even recommend the best restaurant in the area. Both of them make our stay in the Riad a very memorable stay. Will definitely stay there again.
Good for value, location is good, cheap price, simple hotel, good for sleep only
Make sure you download Google maps offline before going there. It's hard to find once you get there but locals will lead you there for a tip. Our room was cute and quintessential to the location. Hard to warm up and there was no warm water so we had to skip shower (this may have been only a temporary problem) you'll have to eat elsewhere. Nice staff and excellent l...
The Hotel is very well located, right in the Medina entrance . The staff is very friendly and helpful, in particular Omar, the reception man . The building is really very nice, like a small Riad .The price is very convenient . The room we booked was really small, 2 little beds and no place to move around (and no attached bathroom) ... even if it was the most expensive room we paid in Morrocco (in 6 weeks). We were a bit desappointed, but we could understand... Chefchaouen is a really famous city and the hotel is well located. At night, we moved a little wood nightstand, and unfortunatly, ...
Never in my life I pay in an hotel in cash , is a disappointing surprise because we need to look for three ATM because some of the didn’t run well. Incredible in the 2019 to pay in cash although we asked this to the staff I we saw how they have the terminal for payment perfectly connected.
I only stayed one night and had to leave very early but everything was very pleasant and everyone was very friendly. Wonderful experience and will be recommending
All ok, staff very friendly, place clean and cozy, near everything but away from the fuzz.
The view from the hotel is nice. The staff is kind. Location of the hotel is quite good although it gets a little noisy due to the main street in front of the hotel. In general, we are quite satisfied with our stay.
A lovely Moroccan home to stay in. Near everything you'd want to see and do in the charming town. Helpful & friendly host and staff. Breakfast could be better, given Moroccan general hospitality.
The place was cheap, clean, all ok but the private bathroom was outside the room.
Cheap places to stay in Tangier-Tetouan
Beautiful hostel, comfortable room and awesone terrace on the roof. No doubt that place is so popular among backpackers, serving good standard and atmosphere with reasobable prince.
Bed bugs... the staff was cool and it's a nice place to meet other travelers with a lovely terrace but unfortunately, that's what I left with: bug bites. The bathrooms weren't particularly clean either.
Everything was okay except the cold. No heater and it was cold in mid- December. The lady was helpful and prepared us breakfast.
This hostel is very ideal for teenies, backpakers. We were a couple with our own bathroom, was fine, but it is very small, my husband got hurt many times. But overall, it is very satisfying
The hotel has a great location right near the central square with beautiful view of the Kasbah. Food was also great.
Enjoyed staying at this hostel, it felt more like a friends house. good vibe.

One towel provided when there 2 of us. Blanket didn't have a cover on it. Could smell smokers within the place. Reception didn't speak English when we requested one so. Terrible! Do not watse your money
Well, it's nicely situated, cheap and clean, and the service is really ok.
great location, great rooftop, friendly people
On weekend night, can heard minimal night club music/singing from nearby. Bathroom has slippery flooring when it’s wet. Floor mat not provided. Room was clean and comfortable. Room looks new. Staff were friendly, helpful and would go extra mile service, receptionist able to understand basic English. Breakfast was good. For the price, overall experience was good e...
Good location and very nice staff.price quite cheaper.I’m staying here two nights.felling good
We had a nice stay. The place was definitely clean and well kept. It is run by a delightful young couple who met us with tea. They were welcoming and helpful. Good location but it takes a bit to find it. Call a head and they will meet you and bring you there.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are an absolute credit to this hotel, extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating (thank you :)). The room was comfortable with the bed being one of the best in our stay travelling morocco, the only thing I would say is that as there was no window in the room it would get stuffy but we just opened the doors duri...

We liked the location and the staff. One morning we had no hot water, so our dhower
A little difficult to get to initially buy I guess that's part of the fun of being in morocco. Was greeted by some awesomely friendly staff who were always at hand to give us tips on places to visit in the city and answer any questions were had.
The owner of the Riad is 50% of the charm. She is nice, welcoming, interesting and fun. It was a great stay if only for our chats. The riad itself is superb, comfortable, well decorated and this applies to the rooms as well. The breakfast was nice, prepared by the owner, and very hommy. It is located in the back-alleys of the medina of Tangiers which makes it harder to...
We just spend one night in this hotel. To be frank, first sight would not be good. because I took several time to find this high site, the close street is not too clean. But when I met the guy who kept the hotel, a young man staying neighbourhood, I changed my opinion. His hospitality and passion give me much pleasure. The inside of house is clean and nice to live. The place was cheap, clean, all ok but the private bathroom was outside the room.
The Hotel is very well located not far from the Martil beach . The owner and all the staff are very friendly and helpful .
Everything about this place is great! It's located centrally, a 5 minute walk to the main square. Nice large apartment and great rooftop terrace with nice views. Saad, the manager, went above and beyond to help us, organising and even buying bus and train tickets for us when leaving town. Highly recommended!
Nice basic and cheap place in the Medina. the owner was nice. Steep and narrow stairs to rooms and roof.
I always stay in the Rembrant when I am uin Tangier because I am happy with what it offers for the money and I know exactly what to expect - no nasty surprises.
The hotel is just right infront of the CTM station, for those who don’t like to drag the bag for to climb up the slope this hotel is the best location to stay, plus a taxi to the old medina just 10diharm.

I like this condo it’s big size room and nice view with good WiFi and everything around especially supermarket and shopping Restaurant But the good things the staff girl reception so kind And helpful name NEAMA , thank you Agoda and staff ,.
the location is great., big room, and comfortable
This hotel was the highlight of our recent travels, in which we stayed in about 10 different hotels. The hotel is beautifully designed in a traditional Moroccan style, and is a photo opportunity in itself. The pool area is also beautifully laid out and the restaurant food was excellent (and far better than the other restaurants we visited in the city). Overall it is ex...
We enjoyed our two stay immensely. The inn is in a great location, the companion restuarant was fantastic. We would return.
When we get in this hotel we had aldeady been in other 2 riads in marrocos, so we have comparator, and this one wasn´t our preferred. The hotel is very very beautiful but I think that the staff wasn´t very helpful. We asked opinion about places to visit and they just don´t know.
It was nice and very comfortable
Omar was a great host e-mailing us for our arrival details, giving us walking directions from the train station of Tangier Ville, meeting us at the doorstep, showing us the apartment, keeping in touch giving us tips during our stay and sending us off to our next destination. From the bell boy to the reception to the housekeeping, everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful. I really appreciated it. The view from the hotel is beautiful, it overlooks the waters. I would definitely stay there again.
