I stayed for 2 nights from December 9-11, 2024. *Location: very good. About a 4-minute walk to BTS Thong Lor, taxis are also easy to find. At the end of the street, there is a woman selling grilled fish and delicious papaya salad, super cheap, you should try it 🤤 *Staff: friendly, polite, and very supportive. I arrived early and left my luggage; after touring around, when I returned at 5 PM, my room was ready and the staff helped me take my luggage to my room beforehand 🥰 Additionally, I received a complimentary room upgrade even though I didn’t request it 😍 *Interior + amenities: spacious, beautiful room. You can see that it has been renovated from a slightly old building, but everything is very clean; if you don’t look closely, you won’t notice it. The room is equipped with everything needed, from toiletries, hair dryer, iron... to free tea and coffee (I like capsule coffee 😉). There are also many other things like soft drinks, snacks, or spa soap... which will incur additional charges when used. Strong water, warm. Good air conditioning. Room is not noisy. The high floor pool is a bit cold and not very large. *A 1000 baht deposit is required, which will be refunded upon check-out. **However, there is one very bad point, extremely disappointing, which is the breakfast ☹️ I didn't plan on having breakfast at the hotel, so I booked my stay without including breakfast. However, my husband whimsically decided last minute, so we bought it for one day at around 50 SGD for 2 people (and luckily we only bought one breakfast 🙄). The food was very limited, just raffle bread + honey or maple syrup, butter, a few slices of bread; the hot food station only had minced meat porridge (very salty); bacon, fries, fried eggs, stir-fried noodles, and that was it! I paid 25 SGD for breakfast, only getting 2-3 slices of raffle bread + maple syrup and a weak cup of coffee. When I asked for a second cup of coffee, I could hardly believe it, it was even weaker than the first cup (the beverage station had no coffee, you had to request it from the staff). I think because it was close to the end of breakfast time, the coffee was running low, and when I requested more, they just added water ☹️ Besides the limited options, the food was not replenished after it ran out. The raffle bread I wanted to have more of was gone; when I told the staff, he said it would take another 30 minutes to have more?! Breakfast was said to be until 10:30 AM, but at 10:00 AM the staff started to clean up and didn’t replenish the food anymore. Right at 10:30 AM, they even closed the doors for the food counters and the outside door, only opening the inside passageway to the hotel lobby, making you feel "chased out," and the truth is no customers "dare" to stay past 10:30 AM 😂. I saw a couple of foreigners who came down at 10:15 AM and could only have a cup of coffee and a slice of buttered bread?! The hotel should seriously reconsider the breakfast issue; it truly does not deserve to affect your reputation. You are a 5-star hotel, but I’m sorry, I have had better breakfasts at 2-star hotels than at your place. Regardless, this is sincere feedback to the hotel, hoping it will improve. And if I return to Bangkok or need to recommend someone, I will still come back to your hotel (but definitely not for breakfast 😁).
